Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff

Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference online and a 20 minute weekday phone consultation, shelter of remains, preparing and filing of death certificate, obtaining necessary authorizations and permits, coordinating with the crematory, family, and/or other third parties to obtain necessary signatures. In addition, this fee includes cremation (for clients up to 225 lbs) and a county cremation permit. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations.)
- Transfer of Remains from a hospital or medical facility into our care (within a 50 mile radius of Comfort Cremation Center)

Beyond this radius we charge $12.99 per mile.

Our Package
Direct Cremation

Our charge for a direct cremation (without ceremony) includes:
- basic services of funeral director and staff;
- a proportionate share of overhead costs;
- removal of remains;
- transportation to crematory and necessary authorizations.
The crematory fee and county cremation permit for decedents up to 225 lbs is included. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are a Cardboard Alternative Container, or a Heavy Cardboard Woodgrain Construction with a simple lined interior and pillow.
